Safety Prayer Ceremony for the Takanawa Gateway Project

御田八幡神社にて安全祈願祭

The Takanawa Gateway Project has been in the planning stages for the past two years. Yesterday, a solemn safety prayer ceremony was held at Mita Hachiman Shrine prior to the start of construction, where prayers were offered for the smooth progress and safety of the project.

By a strange coincidence, Mita Hachiman Shrine is located on the sea-facing slope beneath Kamezuka Park, near our former Tsuki no Misaki Office. This location overlooked the Tokaido Road during the Edo period, offering expansive views of the ocean, and was a place steeped in history and culture.
This project will also be a tribute to the Takanawa Embankment running across the sea, and it is expected that it will create new value while preserving history and memories, and serve as a bridge to the future.

Anticipation is high for the upcoming construction work in this location where historical atmosphere and a new urban area intersect.

After returning to the office, we celebrated with staff members by enjoying Japanese sweets.
