鱗のような外壁

代沢の丘に建つ木造3階建て住宅。R形状の大壁が内外をやわらかく分節し、斜め葺きのガルバリウム鋼板が鱗のような表情をもつ印象的なファサードを形成しています。

斜めに立体交差したトラスの天井

シザーズトラスを発展させた「ツイストトラス」を屋根架構に採用。木組みを立体的に交差させることで、構造強度と空間的な個性を両立し、開放的な大空間に木の力強さと美しさを際立たせています。

耐力壁をなくす‘’はさみ‘’のような構造

ハサミをモチーフとした不均等な斜柱により、耐力壁を用いず水平力を処理。木造でありながら大きく開かれたファサードを実現し、斜柱が木々の風景と重なり合うことで、内外の境界を柔らかくつないでいます。

天然木は軒天に使うべし

国産檜をテラスの軒天に用い、街から見上げた際に木の存在感を演出しつつ、雨や紫外線の影響を抑えて耐久性を高めた熱海のホテル。
