Testing the light at 1/3 scale

1/3スケールで挑んだ光の検証

Weekly Projects We are releasing the mockup for our previous project, "Message from the sky."

This prototype was created in the early stages of design to confirm whether the light would really dance as calculated.
The scale is a bold 1/3. Compared to typical architectural models, which are around 1/200 to 1/50, this model is almost life-size.

However, the size of the thing created a bit of comedy.
When they tried to carry the light outside the building to test it, they discovered that it would not fit through the front door.
Reluctantly, I decided to take it apart and reassemble it outside.

Their efforts paid off, as you can see here, as delicate light patterns emerged inside the model, proving the accuracy of their calculations.
