| A house created from a desire to feel the sky

"I want to feel the sky" - the design of this house began with that simple and fundamental desire.
To fulfill this wish in a densely built-up urban environment, a skylight was installed, incorporating a connection to the sky into the architecture.
The clear sky of a cold morning, the strong sunlight of summer, the deep blue of twilight, piles of snow, water droplets after rain - the ever-changing expressions of the sky are repeated within this house, spreading out infinitely.

| A device that amplifies messages from the sky

The colors and movements of the sky, sometimes creating patterns and sometimes taking on deep hues like the ocean floor, bring a variety of impressions to your home.
This house functions as a "filter" that abstracts the natural phenomenon of the sky and brings it into the interior.
This device allows you to feel not only the direct light from outside, but also the different "atmospheres" in your daily life.

| A comfortable living environment supported by materials and structure

Natural slate is used for the exterior walls using external insulation techniques, and a stable indoor environment is achieved by using floor heating that uses the concrete structure as a heat storage medium.
The interior is made of cedar paneling and traditional clay walls, and the texture of the natural materials creates a warm space that harmonizes with the abstract representation of the sky.
