|CONCEPT

This is a plan for a commercial and office complex facing Dogenzaka, Shibuya Ward.
Won first prize in a proposal competition with three organizational design firms.
The façade is a vertical louver integrated with an aluminum sash, and forms a rhythmical pattern while blocking sunlight. The glass changes its transparency according to its height. While emphasizing transparency in the lower layer, the upper layer increases the reflectance to reflect the sky and reduce the heat load.
