|CONCEPT
Supervised the design of the exterior of the apartment complex and the common areas.
For the exterior, I created a pattern with two types of inexpensive 45 two-sided tiles: white gloss and matte. If you look at it from the front, you can't really see the pattern.
However, depending on the weather and the time of day, the sky is reflected on the gloss tiles and the pattern emerges, changing the look of the building.
At the entrance, we attempted to produce light using RGB three-color LED spotlights on the wall at the top of the stairs. A simple striped pattern creates striped patterns of three colors with different curvatures behind it, and each color interferes further. And "light moire" that colors a new life stage is born.
This is an extension of the idea of a previously created art piece Playing Light .
The overall design is made up of white and corten steel to create a refreshing design.
