Established audio brand SYRINX
We have recently established an audio brand called "SYRINX". We applied for a patent for speakers on April 12th and have launched our website.
SYRINX
SYRINX is a speaker with the theme of harmony between sound, space, and mind. In pursuit of the clearest sound possible, sound blends into the space. We aim to create a speaker that conveys the joy of sound to the heart in everyday life.
Why an architect start an audio brand?
I think most people have doubts.
The problem was that there were no speakers that I wanted to use in the space I had designed.
The design was one thing, but the sound was a bigger problem.
As always, I ended up thinking, "I'll make it myself!" and started researching and building speakers.
However, when I tried to make a speaker, I realized that the sound of commercially available speakers was so bad that I couldn't help but wonder whether they were serious about developing the essential sound, rather than just focusing on the design.
Another major turning point was meeting Mr. Suga of Ensound, who advocates soft enclosures.
And after two years of pursuing our desire to fill space with beautiful speakers that deliver an open, comfortable sound, we have finally completed a speaker that we are happy with, and we are announcing it today so that as many people as possible can enjoy great sound.
The flexible body is made from elegant genuine leather, giving it an unusual design for a speaker.
After much research, we found that the leather that we found best for sound was traditionally tanned in Florence, Italy. Through our encounter with this leather, we learned that this is what genuine Italian leather is like.
The more instruments a speaker has, the more difficult it becomes to reproduce the original sound, and the sound becomes muffled. If the speakers can properly separate and reproduce the individual instruments of an orchestra, which has a wide range of instruments from low to high, they will be suitable for any type of music.
