It's been a while since we had a big oyster party, using two 18-liter cans of oysters.
It looks like a shell mound will be formed. The photo shows about 60% of a 18L can. (laughs)
Transfer the oysters from the 18-liter can to a large pot, pour in sake, and steam them over the fire. The finished sake steamed oysters can be eaten with your hands. This is the most delicious way to eat them. After that, use the remaining soup to add oysters and vegetables to make an oyster hotpot.
Today, a student from France who was here as an intern two years ago came to visit us, saying he wanted to interview us for his master's thesis.
Even nine men couldn't finish it all. The remaining oysters were marinated in oil at home late at night. They were delicious later in curry, pasta and sauteed.
