"MESSAGE FROM THE SKY 2" is a residence that continues the concept from the previous work, in which the ever-changing expressions of the sky are repeated and expanded infinitely.
The sky is placed at the heart of the architecture, and the theme is to incorporate the passage of time into the living space.

| Encounter the sky through traffic flow

This time, we have placed a new vertical traffic flow directly below the skylight on the third floor.
As a result, from the moment you enter the entrance on the first floor, you can experience the sky reflected in the skylight above the third floor, creating a sense of unity with the sky throughout the building.

| Half-mirror creates day and night reversal

A half-mirror is installed on the wall of the private room on the third floor facing the skylight, allowing you to visually enjoy the changes in the sky from inside the room.
Due to the difference in brightness between indoors and outdoors, the relationship of "seeing/not seeing" is reversed between day and night, creating a fluctuation in time and sensations in the space.

| Feel the "abstract sky" beyond your own space

The design is such that wherever you are, even if you are not looking directly at the sky, you can feel the "sky's presence" through the overlapping of light and reflections.
Through architectural manipulation, the presence of sky becomes more abstract, spreading throughout the entire space.
