Circulation
An open house where movement and sight lines connect
| A home with depth and circulation
Circulation is a two-story wooden house located in a quiet residential area of Motoyawata, Chiba Prefecture.
The site is dotted with ancient black pines, creating a tranquil living environment.
| Visual expansion created by changes in floor height
Each floor is not at the same height, but rather is intentionally varied to create a variety of visual openings and give the space depth and a three-dimensional expanse.
| Free flow of movement thanks to mobility
Each room has two entrances, creating a plan that allows for easy movement with no dead ends.
With a continuity of spaces and the constant feeling of knowing where to go next, a natural sense of spaciousness and comfortable fluidity is created throughout the home.
| A window with a view of a cut-out sky
Consideration was also given to the connection with the outside world, and the windows were designed to provide views of the surrounding sky and greenery.
We have created a rich everyday life where you can feel the sky while still being in the building.
